When Niya told me she loved color and wanted bright and colorful senior pictures, I knew Belton, Texas would be the perfect location for her senior session. Niya is an active high school senior at Copperas Cove High School. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, Black Student Union, and Color Guard. After high school, she plans to attend Sam Houston State University in the fall where she plans to possibly double major in Political Science and Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology.

Before heading out to our first location, Niya began her session day getting pampered and photoshoot ready in the makeup chair by my professional makeup artist. We headed to UMHB to kick off her session. UMHB is a really pretty campus that provides a clean aesthetic, which perfectly complimented Niya’s bright and colorful outfits. Next, we wrapped up in downtown Belton which is one of my favorite locations. We captured some beautiful images at the courthouse and as the sun began to set at the creek.
