Every senior that I work with follows a timeline so that you’re prepped and ready for your senior session, resulting in a stress-free experience because you know what happens next for your session. 2-3 Months Before Your Session:
The best thing you can do is book your session EARLY! I book a minimum of 6 weeks in advance to give us plenty of time to plan out your session. In order to book your senior session, you must submit a non-refundable session retainer & sign your contract! This secures your session date!
1-2 Months Before Your Session:
Next, it’s time to start prepping! Once you’ve booked, I will send you session prep material to help you get portrait perfect ready!
I also send out a senior questionnaire. This online form is a way to help me get to know each senior before showing up to the session. Don’t worry, the questions aren’t hard but are detailed! My ultimate goal is to get to know you so that I can visually tell your story. From telling me about yourself, your personality, your style, to any and all ideas you might have for your photo shoot. Don’t hold back! The more you share, the more I will be able to plan the perfect shoot just for you!
Before your session we will have a pre-session consultation to discuss all of the details to bring your vision together. Together we will plan out exactly what you’re wearing for each look, where we’re shooting each outfit, etc. This ensures a stress free session day and helps to make sure that you can arrive on your session day prepared and feeling confident.
Session Day
It’s the day of your session and it’s all about YOU! All of my senior girl clients begin their session day with professional makeup with one of my makeup artists. Once makeup is done, you will change into your first outfit and then we will go to your first location. I will play your favorite music on my bluetooth speaker and I will guide you through everything and show you poses and more. You don’t have to be nervous! It is my time to make sure you are having the best experience possible and capture you and your personality. This is where we have so much fun, laugh and get the best photos possible.
2-3 Weeks After Your Session:
After the photo shoot is done, it’s time to curate and professional edit your session images. You can also expect a sneak peek on Instagram so be sure to follow my Instagram and Facebook to see what I post from your session. Once your images of been completed, you will receive your online session gallery.
3-4 Weeks After Your Session:
Finally, your products have arrived! I will quality check your products to ensure that they are in perfect condition. I will then package your products and get them ready to go to their new home.
