Welcome Danielle to the LFP blog! I had so much fun with Danielle and her mom during her session. If I had to describe Danielle’s session, it would be very HBCU-ish! As an HBCU graduate myself, I was totally here for it. Danielle is a former Ellison Eagle turned Chaparral Bobcat. Chaparral High School is a new high school here in Killeen so I has super excited to have a senior from the school. Danielle is a very bubbly and outgoing young lady who keeps a smile on her face. When she’s not dancing as a Topcat, you can find her hanging out with her friends and family or relaxing scrolling on TikTok or watching The Real Housewives of the Potomac.
After an amazing soft glam session with our makeup artist Shartavia with Bawsey Beats Makeup Artistry by Shartavia Denise. We headed out to Central Texas College to start off her session. Danielle started out with a casual outfit with a pink top and jeans. Next, we switched into her cap and gown to celebrate this great accomplishment that she worked hard towards for 12 years.
We transitioned to Texas A&M University – Central Texas for her second location. She wanted to highlight her time at Ellison into her session because she spent freshman through junior year there and has so many memories.
Next, we went collegiate. Danielle plans to attend an HBCU and she has narrowed it down between Prairie View A&M University and Southern University. I think she’s leaning more towards Prairie View. While in college Danielle plans to study either nursing or pre-law. The ultimate question is…which HBCU will she attend?
Finally, we headed to Chaparral High to wrap up her session. Danielle changed in to her dance uniform to show a little school spirit and her love for dance as a member of the Topcat Dance team. I’m so excited for what the future holds for Danielle. She literally lights up a room when she walks in. What Danielle is most excited for after graduation are the experiences that she will encounter and stepping into adulthood.
