Moving to Central Texas has come with it’s share of perks. Being an hour away from where the Senior Style Guide PUSH Conference is hosted is a big one. I have attended a few of conferences and have heard people talk about PUSH and SYNC conferences but I had never attended either.

The PUSH conference is a three day conference. It consists of education and break out sessions where photographers get to photograph different models. A fellow photographer friend of mine Katrina Jackson (Katrina Jackson Photography) from Indiana reached out to me. She needed a model for her shootout segment during the conference. I happily accepted because I thought this would be such an amazing experience for my senior and me. So, on the third day of the conference, Tyra, her mom, my makeup artist and myself headed down to Austin to the Lone Star hotel.

From meeting so many photographers, meeting Vickie Black the CEO of Senior Style Guide and having the opportunity to model in the conference; this opportunity was nothing short of amazing. I was so excited and proud of Tyra because she experienced something new and endured hours of being photographed. I hope this is a moment that she will cherish for a lifetime as apart of her senior year.
