We are back for Tyra’s Fall senior session and I’m so excited to share all of the details. Tyra is my Class of 2023: Senior Model and she is an absolute treasure to work with. If you missed our summer shoot together, you can check it out here. Tyra is a senior at Harker Heights high school and is quite the athlete. She participates in volleyball, basketball and track and field. So of course we had to highlight all of these things for her senior session.

Tyra’s session started off with makeup by our professional makeup artist Shartavia with Bawsey Beats Makeup Artistry by Shartavia Denise. Then we headed to downtown Temple to give Tyra her urban feel that she loves for her photos. Out of her three sports, Tyra is most passionate about basketball. So, her first outfit was dedicated to basketball. She wore a beautiful red jumpsuit with a sweetheart top to give off a girly athletic vibe. We got some super cute shots near some shops to give a clean look for a downtown vibe and then took her to the middle of the street and used her basketball as a prop to add a little urban to it.

Next, we showed a little school spirit by switching into her letterman jacket. Tyra wanted to show off her medals and accomplishment for each sport with this outfit. So we added in her baton from track and her volleyball. We even found a graffiti wall to add a little pop of color making this a fun set of photos for her gallery.

Lastly, we ended with Tyra and her mom’s favorite outfit. A super cute transitional Fall outfit paired with some boots and a fedora hat to wrap her session.

Tyra has not committed to a university yet but is still awaiting more offers. She plans to attend college in the fall and major in biology/pre-med as well as continue playing basketball on a collegiate level. She is currently a student at the Killeen Career Center where she is working towards her phlebotomy certification. I cannot wait until the Spring for her grad session and finding out where she is committing to. Either way, I know that Tyra will do amazing things no matter where she goes.
