My mama heart is so full because my youngest SONshine Avery just turned 1. Where did the time go? I feel like I just had him yesterday. Due to the pandemic, we were unable to host a birthday party. Even though El Paso has opened up, we still have to follow the Army’s regulations at this time. I still wanted to celebrate Avery because he deserved it and it’s his day of course.

I went with the theme WILD ONE because if you know anything about Avery, he truly is a wild one. 😂 I also didn’t hire a photographer for his first birthday shoot…I knooooow but I mean I am a photographer. Grant it, indoor photography is definitely not my thing but I did the best that I could just to give my little guy something to look back on when he’s older.

Avery is so full of energy, loving and smart. He is already walking and getting into things. Just seeing that big smile that melts my heart on his face made all of this worth it no matter how small it was. Check out a few images from Avery’s big day.
