I present to you the Class of 2020! π
If I had to use a word to describe this class it would be resilient. Having to adapt to a “new normal” due to an unexpected global pandemic. Having to find peace in the crazy time of transition that ripped them from their last few rites of passage as a high school student. There was no prom for them, some of them didn’t have a graduation or had a limited or virtual graduation. Unorthodox to say the least but to see the smiles on their faces as they celebrated completing high school and moving on to their next chapter in life was so heartwarming.
El Paso finally opened up around mid May and I hit the ground running for these seniors. Every senior was unique and special in their own way. Congratulations to each and every senior. This has not been an easy few months but you have something to celebrate and you deserve to be celebrated.
