Hello friends! Welcome to my little space on the internet. My name is La’Kendra Franklin and that is me pictured above with the four people who are pieces of my heart in human form. Being that we are shut down due to covid, I figured that it would be a great time to start my blog. Let me start by telling you a little bit about myself.

Almost 7 years ago I married by best friend. He has now turned me into an Army wife and we were preparing for our first deployment until covid canceled those plans. I am so grateful that he didn’t have to leave but I wish the circumstances were better. I am a mother to 3 handsome and energetic little boys. I’m sure you can guess how wild and chaotic my house can get full of young men running around. My family and I are originally from North Carolina but we currently reside in El Paso, Texas.

About 4 years ago, prior to my husband joining the Army, I picked up a camera and started my photography journey. This year will make almost a year that I turned my love for photography into a business. I specialize in high school senior portraiture and I absolutely love it. Having the honor and opportunity of capturing such a joyous milestone for parents and seniors is so fulfilling. I really hope that things go back to normal fairly soon so that these current grads will get a chance to enjoy the rest of their senior year.
